Lets be clear about something. Science isn’t decided by consensus. It’s decided by provable fact, by tests that produce the same results every time. Global Warming or Climate Change is based on computer models. The accuracy of computer models is based on the information entered into the study. Garbage in, garbage out. Computer models are so unreliable they aren’t admissible in court as evidence. A “consensus” is a majority of people agreeing on some hypothesis which means not all of them agree. Does that mean those that disagree are wrong or just outnumbered?

So who are the scientists that President Obama, Al Gore and most of the main stream media claim agree that man is causing Global Warming? It’s the IPCC….INTERGOVERNMENTAL PANEL ON CLIMATE CHANGE. The IPCC is a United Nations panel, chosen and funded by the United Nations. The United Nations former Secretary General, Maurice Strong said, “Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? And isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?” How better to collapse industrialized nations than to restrict their use of energy? After all our entire economy is based on the use of abundant, cheap energy. Considering that is their goal, who might they name as members of the IPCC? You’ll have a hard time finding the number of scientists in the IPCC or who they are. The number I’ve seen most often is around 600. We know who some of them are because they have spoken publicly. Some have appeared in documentaries to expose what they consider the fraud of Global Warming. But, understand, the 90% of scientists they are talking about are 90% of the 600 IPCC scientists NOT 90% of all the scientists in the world. But if man causing Global Warming were fact and all studies produced the same results wouldn’t 100% of scientists agree? There are over 31,000 scientists who signed a petition saying man was not causing Global Warming. This fact is never discussed by Al Gore, this administration or the media. Check for yourself http://www.petitionproject.org. These scientists are listed by name.

We know Phil Jones and Michael Mann were members. The computer model used is Phil Jones study. He was exposed in the Climategate e-mails to have manipulated data and intimidated peer publications not to publish studies that disagreed with his. He couldn’t give the date he based his model on because it was “not well organized enough”. We are going to reorder our entire way of living based on “not well organized” data that was admittedly manipulated? Jones resigned from the IPCC and his position at the University of East Anglia. He admitted that there had been “no statistically-significant global warming since 1995”. LOOK IT UP!

There is also Stephen Schneider. He is the scientist who said in 1974 that the world was going to freeze over by 2000 and we were all going to starve. Later he became a member of the IPCC and claimed man was causing the polar caps to melt and we were all going to drown. He appears in a documentary called “Cool It” about a young Danish environmentalist, Bjorn Lomborg, who believed if man was causing any warming it wasn’t catastrophic and could be adjusted to. Schneider condemned Lomberg in the documentary but says, “we have to give scary scenarios in order to get funding”. There you are.

When there is so much evidence that man has no effect on Global Warming or the climate, why won’t this administration, Al Gore and the media drop it and why do so many people believe it?
Well, it’s been demonstrated time and again, if you repeat a lie over and over people will believe it. The bigger the lie the more they believe it. Most people are responsible citizens and don’t want dirty air or water. Neither do I. But we have the cleanest air and water in the world. We have it because we have abundant energy to keep it clean. Coal plants have been developing ways to produce “clean coal” energy but this administration is closing down our coal plants instead of letting them developing their technology. At the same time China is building a new coal plant everyday with no such concerns about “clean coal”. Coal produces 45% of our energy needs. 45% of our energy is being shut down with NO viable replacement. And, BTW, the making of solar panels and wind turbines uses more energy and produces more waste than they save. They are also much more expensive and less reliable. The general public knows next to nothing about science, so it is understandable that when they are constantly being told they are causing the end of the world they would fear for their children’s futures. The trouble is, it’s not true.

There have been great advances in the technology in Nuclear power. Liberals scared us out of building anymore Nuclear plants (Thank you, “Clear and Present Danger”) when it is the safest and cleanest energy. The technology has advanced to the point it is possible to burn 100% of the fuel rods which solves the problem of what to do with the waste. In the over 60 years we have had Nuclear power, there have been three incidents and fewer deaths than any other form of energy. But we aren’t building Nuclear plants. No, the ONLY plan is regulating CO2. Why?

Another goal of the United Nations is redistribution of wealth. The money we are throwing at wind and solar (mostly to foreign nations) is a good start. So is our giving money to other countries to drill for oil in our Gulf and promising to be their first customer….while not allowing us to drill. The United Nations goal is world wide Economic, Social and Environmental Equality. They believe the only way to raise the standard of living of third world countries is to lower ours. How could they get us to go along with that unless they made us believe our lifestyle was destroying the world? The bigger the lie the more people believe it.

Global warming or climate change is the perfect example of Goebbel’s statement that if you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes gospel. NO ONE stood up to Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring when it was published even though the science of the time PROVED her theory about DDT to be incorrect. Fifty million dead Africans–mostly children–later, we’re now being asked to buy MOSQUITO NETTING for sleeping under because the “scientific community” still won’t permit the spraying of DDT which had managed the malarial mosquito population quite nicely without doing ANY harm to bird eggshells. NO ONE is speaking up against Obama or the UN on this latest rant, either, and we’re going to spend more money resulting in NO GOOD AT ALL.

  2. True. When I was a child trucks drove through our neighborhoods “smoking” us with DDT. Funny, I’m still alive.

  3. William Del Pilar says:

Great article. You cover all aspects and show once again it’s not hard to be informed. 🙂

  4. The experience is one which the blood-thirsty thief and rapist Mohammed had, is
well known. But it was also sad because her fans noticed that she was thrown nearly one hundred
fifty feet into a truck parked in her driveway.
Think about all the good and news the bad ones bad.
It is also usually the link to understand where you might get
stuck in. Well, first of all, many people noticed that Aamir Khan did not drink alcohol.

We need to be very aware of this. Because it is not going away: The world is not ready for the impacts of climate change, including more extreme weather and the likelihood that populated parts of the planet could be rendered uninhabitable, says the planet’s leading body of climate scientists in a major new UN report.

The 772 scientists who wrote and edited the report argue that world leaders have only a few years left to reduce carbon emissions enough to avoid catastrophic warming, which would produce significant sea level rise and large-scale shifts in temperatures that would dramatically disrupt human life and natural ecosystems.

“Observed impacts of climate change are widespread and consequential,” according to the report, which is from the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and was released Monday morning in Yokohama, Japan.

The report uses stronger language around current impacts of climate change than past IPCC releases.

It warns that the impacts from changing climate are already happening, calling out “high risk levels” for spread of disease in Africa; property loss and mortality due to wildfires in North America; and decreased food production and food quality in South America. (See video: “Global Warming 101.”)

The report also warns of more dire consequences to come and says governments are ill-prepared for the effects.

It shows that “today’s choices are going to significantly affect the risk that climate change will pose for the rest of the century,” says Kelly Levin, a scientist who studies climate change impacts at the World Resources Institute in Washington, D.C.

Frances Beinecke, the president of the Natural Resources Defense Council, called the report an “S.O.S. to the world.”

    “Crossing a Threshold”

The new report, from a body known as the UN panel’s Working Group II, warns that the world is close to missing a chance to limit the global warming that has occurred since the Industrial Revolution.

World leaders had previously agreed on a target of limiting warming to 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit).

Beyond that point, “impacts will begin to be unacceptably severe,” the authors wrote. (Quiz: What You Don’t Know About Climate Science.)

“There is potential for crossing a threshold that leads to large system changes, and that’s a very unknown world that has severe consequences,” Levin says.

If the warming were to go beyond 6-to-7 degrees Fahrenheit (about four degrees Celsius), she says, as predicted by some climate models, “we would see extensive changes in agriculture.”

Even at the lower end of predictions, the report warns: “Climate change will lead to increased frequency, intensity and/or duration of extreme weather events such as heavy rainfall, warm spells and heat events, drought, intense storm surges and associated sea-level rise.”

Levin hopes the report will spur international leaders to negotiate more aggressive attempts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. (How does the greenhouse effect work?)

    People Get Ready

Levin says the IPCC report’s bottom line is that governments need to invest more in planning for the impacts of climate change. Communities that are already marginalized, she says, including the urban poor, are most at risk.

Some communities should be moved to less risky areas, and support services need to be bolstered, she says: “We need more fast-acting institutions and early-warning systems. We are already committed to significant warming, so adaptation is a great necessity.”

Energy companies and governments are actively planning and building the infrastructure that will be in service for decades, she notes. As climate change continues, power plants will need to have enough water for cooling their systems in places that are likely to get hotter and drier.

“Whether we pick a low-emission or high-emission pathway, we may not see changes immediately,” Levin says. “But in terms of a century it is a drastically different world.”

The new report specifically calls out risks to agriculture.

“In the U.S. we have seen acute effects of severe heat on corn, cotton, and soy yields,” says Noah Diffenbaugh, a climate scientist at Stanford University and one of the lead authors of the North American section of the document.

“That kind of severe heat is likely to increase in response to continued global warming,” he says.

    Understanding the IPCC

The IPCC was founded in 1988 and has released a report on the current state of scientific knowledge about climate change roughly every five years.

The new Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) updates the science since the last report was issued in 2007.

The massive report, running hundreds of pages, is being released in three sections, each prepared by a different working group.

Working Group I focused on the physical science behind climate change; its report was published last September (see the report’s five key takeaways).

In April, Working Group III will address how governments can work to mitigate climate change.

  6. There hasn’t been any warming in more than 17 years. There is no crisis. Man doesn’t “cause” weather. The IPCC is a UN chosen and funded panel. Many scientists who were once members of the IPCC resigned from it because it wasn’t science. The UN wants the entire world to be under Agenda 21 with the UN being the governing body. No western country would agree to such a plan unless they could convince the population that they were creating a world wide crisis.

THOUSANDS of scientists (more than the 772 you mention) say man is NOT causing “global warming” or “climate change”. And, in FACT, the climate isn’t any more extreme than it ever has been. This year there have been fewer tornados and hurricanes. The ice caps have more ice, not less.

Not one single prediction the IPCC has made has happened. This is no different than the fake claims that there was going to be a pandemic of swine flu, bird flu, H1N1 flu, etc. The Global Warming FRAUD is nothing but a mechanism to redistribute western countries wealth and industry around the world and to control the lives and movements of the population.

It is evil and you are evil for spreading propaganda.

I could go on and on but you want to believe the UN panel. The UN, who has issued statements that no one should own private property.

    • Arch says:

Yes. Scientists are using computer models to see into the future and see what the past has done to our planet. These computers are capable of taking a grain of sand from a nearby beach in California and make it appear as Planet Earth…because that is how small we are in the Universe.

Computers and the things they are able to do is 21st Century thinking Madame. To rely on the scientists you say you have met and have told you specifically, that man-made global warming is a “hoax” is utterly ridiculous. The scientist with whom I have worked just shake their heads at the notion people do not understand that the planet is screaming at us to quit hurting it. When are you and people like you going to wake up and understand how incredibly tiny we are in the grand scheme of things? One of the people who posted on one of your rants, actually said he/she saw the meteors ‘pinging” off the mountain tops while on walk in Arizona during a meteor shower. I think we both know how stupid that is.

To imagine a universe is to imagine God. I hope you will take 5 minutes to watch this because it’s by a reputable source: (The American Museum of Natural History) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17jymDn0W6U

      Best regards and good luck!

  7. AGAIN, there hasn’t been any warming in 17 years and more scientists disagree with your theory than agree with it. And YES, that is what it is, theory.

You imply you believe in God but you believe that God made a mistake that would allow CO2, a gas necessary for life, to destroy it. You say on one hand that man is insignificant in the universe but then you think he is powerful enough to destroy what God made. That is laughable, Sir. CO2 was 17 times higher in the Jurassic period and it simply made lush plant life. Flower growers in California pump CO2 into their greenhouses to make their flowers bigger and more colorful. The morons at the Earth Summit wanted to reduce CO2 100% which would not sustain life for plants or man. Your theory is SO INSANE, the government is going to tax cow farts. I guess God forgot cows farted. What about elephants or buffalo or all the rest of the animals, including man, who fart. God made man in his image and gave him dominion over the earth and animals. He gave us the resources we need. He knows all things.

Yes, computers can do many wonderful things. They are only as accurate as the data that has been put into them. Phil Jones admitted he manipulated the data to support his position.

I challenge you to watch the documentary “Cool It” in which Prof. Stephen Schneider says that he has to give “scary scenarios” in order to get funding. This man, who supports man-caused global warming is the EXACT man who said in 1974 that the earth was going to freeze over. He was wrong then and he’s wrong now. That’s what your scientist “friends” should be laughing at.

I see you completely dismissed the THOUSANDS of scientists who disagree with your few “friends” who laugh at the idea that there is no global warming. The trouble is, THERE HAS BEEN NO WARMING IN 17 YEARS. Whatever warming/cooling cycles that happen are caused by natural causes and we can adjust to them.

P.S. You mention someone who commented on one of my columns having seen meteors ping off mountains. I don’t delete what people post here because I want others to see what foolish ideas some people have……like yours.

    • Arch says:

The Earth’s climate has changed throughout history. Just in the last 650,000 years there have been seven cycles of glacial advance and retreat, with the abrupt end of the last ice age about 7,000 years ago marking the beginning of the modern climate era — and of human civilization. Most of these climate changes are attributed to very small variations in Earth’s orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receives.

“Scientific evidence for warming of the climate system is unequivocal.”

      – Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is very likely human-induced and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented in the past 1,300 years.1

Earth-orbiting satellites and other technological advances have enabled scientists to see the big picture, collecting many different types of information about our planet and its climate on a global scale. Studying these climate data collected over many years reveal the signals of a changing climate. http://climate.nasa.gov/evidence

I believe strongly that God put humans on earth for us to figure things out for themselves. For example, why in just the past 7 years do we have instant communication like Twitter and Facebook and other social media? Why DIDN’T we have that 50 years ago? Because, we as humans continue to build on what God’s plan is for all of us.

Global warming IS now being caused by man and if you want to believe the likes of Sarah Palin and her views that “God is just hugging us a little close” than you really need to stop spreading your nonsense. Of course, I am probably the only person with advanced degrees who reads your rants because I find your ignorance so intriguing. How can ANYONE possibly think the way you do? You are fascinating to me. And so are those who think what you are writing is “gospel”

No offence. We just disagree. And, there are plenty of Tea Party Conservatives who actually believe like you do…I have a close friend who believes like you do and we have wonderful debates about global warming…and she always loses when I present her with facts that are not blogs or not from places like Fox TV (it’s NOT news).

  8. Did you read any of the links I posted? None of it came from blogs or Fox News. I guess I’m as ignorant as 50 NASA scientists and astronauts. Or 650 scientists who spoke to Congress. Or 31,000+ scientists who disagree.

NO, there hasn’t been any warming. Is NASA ignorant too?http://dailycaller.com/2014/01/22/nasa-data-shows-that-the-pause-in-global-warming-continues/

Or ex-President Klaus of the Czech Republic? Who, BTW, sat with me during a conference on Global Governance. http://www.energytribune.com/5966/global-warming-dogma-the-new-communism-says-czech-president-vaclav-klaus#sthash.VaIY46tt.mVvubNmf.dpbs

Or this ex-member of the IPCC? Warming fears are the “worst scientific scandal in the history…When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists.” – UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh, an award-winning PhD environmental physical chemist.

I don’t get my information from Sarah Palin or Fox News but I always enjoy that Liberal fall back claim when they have nothing more intelligent to say. You can send your “friends” who disagree with you and I’ll give them the facts you ignore.

You and your “advanced degrees” can give up your car and your private property but I won’t.

  9. I POSTED a link from NASA. The new head of NASA is an Obama appointee who says his main job is “Muslim Outreach”. The UN is pushing this FRAUD to result in Global Governance. I get my information from real scientists and heads of state, not some link from someone on the internet who has replaced religion with Global Warming. Don’t contact me again. I consider it harassment.
