Democrat voters, Progressives, Leftists, or whatever they call themselves tell the rest of us that they are the tolerant, inclusive, moral people who want people to be free to live as they want. They say you should be free to love who you love, be free to marry who you want to marry, be free to be whatever gender you want, be free to abort a baby up to and including birth, men who say they are women should be free to use women’s bathrooms, dressing rooms and compete in women’s sports, etc.
They also say people (who support their agenda) should be free to riot, loot, and burn down cities without consequences if they are upset. The new Mayor of Chicago just said these kids who have been oppressed should be able to burn a few cars (THESE “OPPRESSED KIDS HAVE CELL PHONES AND $200.00 SHOOES). People should be free to harass, shout down or terrorize people they don’t like, as they did to Riley Gaines. People should be free to take out loans and not pay them back.
But as they claim their devotion to freedom, the people they vote for, donate money to and admire are taking their freedoms from them right in front of their faces. Can they possibly be that blind?
Are they free to access cheap, abundant energy? Are they free to have gas stoves and appliances? Are they free to drive a gas powered car, or any car for that matter (as there won’t be the infrastructure for all electric cars and they are very expensive). Are they free if criminals and government are the ONLY people with guns?
How about medications? Are they free to say no to experimental vaccines? Are they free to use FDA approved medications that have been used for decades? Are doctors free to prescribe treatments or medications they trust? Are employers free to hire the best candidate for the job? Are parents free to object to schools sexualizing their children? Are girls free to object to biological men in their bathrooms? Are women free to object to biological men competing in women’s sports? Are they free to object to schools changing their children’s gender behind their backs? Free to object to pornography in school libraries? ASIDE: We expect bookstores, liquor stores, grocery stores, etc. to keep porn out of the hands of children so why are libraries exempt?
Will they be free to eat meat? Or rice? If cattle are banned, will they be free to drink milk, have butter, or other dairy products? Our bodies were designed to eat meat not bugs. The Left is taking away our choices, taking our freedom. Will they be eating bugs?
While the Left accuses the Right of banning books, they HAVE banned books like Tom Sawyer and Huck Fynn, To Catch a Mockingbird, Gone with the Wind, and other classics. They are also rewriting Dr. Seuss and other books to remove what they think is offensive. They demanded Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben be removed. They demanded all sports teams with Indian names be changed. They demand people who disagree with them be silenced. The Left used to be the defender of Civil Rights and Free Speech for everyone. They used to believe EVERYONE, even the most heinous criminals, deserved a fair trial. They demanded the terrorists in Guantanamo get fair trials….but not the January 6th accused, not Donald Trump or anyone who supports him. Alan Dershowitz has said the NY judge won’t allow a change of venue and no one on a New York jury will want to be known as one who let Trump off. Is this “freedom”?
While claiming to be for “freedom” the Left is silencing anyone who disagrees with them. That is NOT freedom.
